Letter to Soil is a series of animated drawings created with soil. Made from earth collected during my thesis research, the drawings were photographed and transformed into moving digital compositions that blur the boundaries between material, landscape, and image.
The work reflects on soil as a living community—full of organisms, relationships, and histories that often remain unseen. Through drawing and animation, Letter to Soil invites a slower way of looking and a deeper consideration of our connections to land, ecology, and place.
